Virtual Pool 3 review

(This game was released in 2000 but you can still buy it & it’s even available for less than £2 as an iPhone app)

This game is so realistic it could be a teaching simulator. Playing Virtual Pool 3 will seriously improve your real game. However, there are several annoyances, which leave it falling a bit short of perfection.

Vertical Limit review

I was expecting this to be a great film. The trailer had promised something special, something dark, supernatural and thought provoking. The cinema was packed, and I sat confidently in my seat.

Shanghai Noon review : A cocktail of adventure excitement & fun

I won’t give any of the plot away, other than to say that our hero Jackie, plays a lowly Chinese Imperial guard in the Forbidden City of China in the 1800s. After the kidnap of the princess, he finds himself like a fish out of water in the American Wild West and on a mission.

O Brother, Where Art Thou? review : Different, funny, bizarre

This is an unorthodox comedy, which I found very refreshing. It’s written and directed by the Coen brothers (Joel and Ethan) who are renowned for being dark and surreal. Here they’ve supplied a diluted and commercial version of their unique style, which should make them accessible to a bigger audience than before.
