A song called “Folded over”

This is a slow, chilled song with a melancholy feel. It’s a work in progress and this is just a version which will hopefully be improved on soon. It’s probably a little too long and may end up being faded out. We’ve not got much extra to add musically (though I will almost certainly re record my bass line), but it needs more work in the mixing department.

I am still learning about mixing and using eq and effects, as well as learning how to use the complicated software we are using. The song is not representative of all our work apart from the chilled and melancholy feel that many songs tend to have at least in parts. I will publish many more disperate examples of our work and my solo projects soon (Prog rock, dance and electronic – even classical).

Cheers Sean.

I’ve uploaded the latest version (15). I’ve re-recorded all the bass and changed some of it to make it less repetitive. I’ve fiddled and tweaked loads of stuff with the mixing and EQ. I’ve added keyboard harmonies, added a string section to hopefully maintain interest.

I’ve dropped out the dums and several guitars in places and we’ve added a bit of extra guitar. All in all it’s now developed quite a long way since last time.
